Last night, Director and creator of the new Mojo 2 Spare Production's film short microaggressions, Eris, returned to her alma mater, Northwest Arkansas Community College, to screen her latest project for a limited audience during their Variety Night hosted by the Theatre Department. The short was screened midway through the program and was well-received by the audience. The screening was followed by a brief Q&A from the audience who agreed that the piece is extremely important and timely as they found it highly impactful. The film short has placed as semi-finalist in two film festivals so far, and has been submitted to seven other festivals for consideration.

In answer to the question about why she wanted to screen it at NWACC, she said, "I am an NWACC alumna. The school gave me the confidence and skills to move forward and become a more productive artist. It was important for me to return to my home with art to share in a place that has given so much to me and the community."
